Dr. Tepliz graduated from Boston University with a degree in Health Science. During the first few years of her undergraduate career, she spent many hours volunteering at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in order to explore the many avenues of medicine. While volunteering, she learned of Unite for Sight, a nonprofit organization with a mission to raise money and provide global eye care and surgeries to patients without such access to care.
Shortly thereafter, she joined the Boston University chapter of Unite for Sight and assumed the role of Vice President of campus fundraising. This work was very fulfilling and inspired Dr. Tepliz to realize her desire to be a part of improving patients’ vision and quality of life. She then went on to graduate from the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. Tepliz specializes in primary eye care, with a specific focus in dry eye treatment, contact lenses and glasses prescriptions. She is licensed to practice Optometry in Connecticut, New York, and Colorado and is fluent in English and Russian.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her family and puppy.
