Brain Injury Protocol

Use Mu Upsilon Optometric Phototherapy at bedtime if sleep disrupted
● Consider vision therapy
● Supplement diet with multivitamins, B complex, CoQ10, Glutathione,
Curcumin, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Fenugreek, PQQ, L-Theanine
● Take Magnesium (threonate) at bedtime
○ Neurocalm
○ Epsom salt bath
● Take Pre and probiotics
● Take D3: 2000 IU (1000 for children)
● Supplement with Fish oil/omega 3: Carlson or Nordic Naturals
○ Consider cod liver oil: Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil Lemon Flavored, 1 tbs (1 tsp for children)
● Consider limiting gluten, dairy, casein, soy or other dietary inflammatory triggers
● Limit caffeine, alcohol, sugar and artificial sweeteners
● Drink plenty of water, preferably some lemon water daily
● Use Frankincense, Lavender, Peppermint, doTerra Balance and Serenity essential oils in diffuser and/or roller ball.
● Consult with specialists: physical therapist, craniosacral, massage, acupuncture, naturopath, functional chiropractor, holistic dentist
● Consider PEA or CBD oil if in pain
● Limit exposure to screens, EMFs
● Use natural lighting and/or blues, indigo, aquas
● Get outside in nature and include mild daily exercise
● Listen to meditative music, delta wave/binaural beats
● Good books to read/listen: The Ghost in my Brain, My Stroke of Insight, Head Cases
● Drink smoothies with lots of veggies and fruit: e.g., Kale, Wild blueberries, Celery, Cucumber, Cilantro, Avocado, Banana, Coconut oil
